Two Barry residents are in the Pike County Jail on meth related charges.

Pike County, Illinois Sheriff David Greenwood reports a search warrant was executed by

West Central Illinois Drug Task Force agents about 11:45 p.m. Sunday at a residence in Barry.

The search resulted in the arrests of 38 year old Thomas Wallace and 57 year old Patricia Touchette.

Both are charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Additional arrests are pending.

 

A Barry man is taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

Pike County, Illinois deputies arrested 28 year old Zachary Schwalb in Barry on an active Pike County warrant just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

A search of Schwalb found him to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.

Schwalb is lodged in the Pike County Jail.

 

An investigation leads to two arrests on a variety of charges.

According to Pike County, Illinois Sheriff David Greenwood, an investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the Ralph’s Landing area in rural Rockport about 12:40 a.m.

Saturday led the seizure of meth, heroine, plastic baggies, digital scales, smoking devices, hypodermic syringes, ammunition and three handguns.

Taken into custody were 31 year old Ethan Miller of Pittsfield and 46 year old Jeana Thomas of Louisiana.

Both are charged with unlawful possession of meth with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes.

Miller was also charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, obstructing justice and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Thomas was also charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Both are lodged in the Pike County, Illinois Jail.
