As usual, there is something for everyone on this weekend's events calendar.

The LaGrange Lions Club hosts a Fishing Rodeo at Wakonda State Park Saturday, with registration starting at 7:30 a.m.

There's a Red Cross blood drive at Faith Presbyterian Church in Quincy from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Hannibal Parks and Recreation and Hannibal Clinic Health Services sponsor the annual Ride Cool at the Ramp Park Saturday at Huckleberry Park Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Palmyra Chamber of Commerce hosts its first Howdy Neighbor Day Saturday on the Marion County Courthouse square with food, vendors and more from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be a Flag Day parade in Palmyra Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.

There's a benefit for Karen Sherman Saturday at the American Legion Hall in Hannibal. There will be food, an auction and a dance, with doors opening at 5 p.m.

The Tri-States Lugnuts Endless Summer Cruise-In is Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot at the Quincy Mall with music, food and door prizes.

Sunday is the fundraiser for Leaps of Love at Finn's Food and Spirits in downtown Hannibal. There will be a traditional crawfish and shrimp boil with all the trimmings, along with music by Zydeko Voodoo beginning at 1 p.m.
