The forecast for this Saturday calls for sunny skies and a high of 25. Perfect weather for a disc golf tournament. No, really.

This comes from Mary Lynne Richards at the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department: Just like residences, streets and buildings, parks and facilities have been adversely affected by the Aug. 12 storm.

Hannibal’s spring cleanup has been postponed by one day.

The Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department will have a Storybook Trail in Central Park May 1-18.

As usual, there is something for everyone on this weekend's events calendar.

The most ideal conditions for building a snowman are when temperatures are right around freezing. This year, it's been much, much colder than that. Not only is it hard to build a snowman when temperatures are extremely low, it's dangerous to be outside too long. Getting cabin fever and looking for a way to run and/or walk off those winter blues? Got an event for you! It's the "Catch Cupid If You Can" 5K Run/Walk in Hannibal on February 9th benefiting the Kids In Motion Program.  The event will start at 10am in Riverview Park.
