Extensive Firework Celebration After KC Win Seen on NWS Radar
The celebration in Kansas City after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl was so much that the National Weather Service captured the celebration on their radar.
The celebration will continue tomorrow when the victory parade will happen in downtown KC and end with a victory rally at Union Station at 1:45 pm. This year the weather will be warmer so over 2 million people are expected to take over the streets in downtown KC. Schools have canceled the day so that students can go and see the newly crowned Super Bowl Champions.
Seems like Kansas City residents know how to throw a party and celebrate. So much so that radar picks up images of the massive amount of fireworks going on. Kind of a memorable moment for Chief fans and I am sure tomorrow during the parade more celebrations and fireworks will happen.
