Drink and Know Things at Game of Thrones Trivia at Market Grille
Do you know the names of Daenerys Targaryen's three dragons? What about why they call Petyr Baelish "Little Finger"? What was the major battle between Jon Snow and Ramsay Bolton called? What does Ser Bronn of Blackwater think there's no cure for? If you can answer all four of those questions and about 17 more, you could probably dominate Game of Thrones Trivia on July 19th at Market Grille Express in the Harrison HyVee.
According to this post from their Facebook page, this will be a trivia night only for those 18 and older, which makes sense considering the subject matter. And normally it's free to participate, but starting with this Trivia Night they're starting a $1 per person donation, with all money raised going to the not for profit organization of the winning team's choice at the end of the night. Trivia begins at 6:30pm, and these themed nights tend to fill up fast. Make sure to get your reservations in at 217.223.9373
Market Grille has been routinely crushing it with their monthly themed trivia, from Big Bang Theory to Disney to Grey's Anatomy to others I'm probably forgetting. But it's always been a fun way to test our knowledge, and have a good time doing so. As a lover of Game of Thrones, I'm definitely looking forward to this one, and should probably binge all of it in preparation. Girlfriend's going out of town this weekend, so I've got time.
If whoever sets these up is reading, might I suggest: Star Trek; Saved By The Bell; Saturday Night Live; 90s Era Nickelodeon; The Collected Works of Aaron Sorkin.
P.S. Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion are her dragons; He's "Little Finger" because of his short stature, and he grew up in the Fingers of the Riverlands; Battle of the Bastards; and you know what? I'm not gonna answer that last one. That's not a word for polite company.
