Let the holiday celebrations begin!

Okay, I know it’s early, but it’s never too early to start planning holiday family events, and this is one you don’t want to miss.

2025 Holiday Train Stops in Missouri

Each year, the CPKC Holiday Train makes its way from Canada through the United States from November 19th through December 21st, and this year, it’s making three stops in Missouri. Throughout the train tour, various performers will be featured at each stop.

Chillicothe Stop Details

The first stop will be on November 26th in Chillicothe, at the U.S. Business 36 & Harvester Road location. The train is scheduled to arrive at 3 p.m. and depart at 3:30 p.m. Performers at this stop include Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde.

Kansas City Night Display

Kansas City will be the next stop, at Union Station on November 28th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., and this might be the one to attend. I say that because it’ll be at night, and the train will be fully lit up with its flashing Christmas lights, you’ll get the full holiday experience! Plus, it’ll be on display a little longer than the Chillicothe stop. Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde will also be performing here.

Final Stop in Joplin

Finally, Joplin will be the last destination for the CPKC Holiday Train in 2025, stopping at 205 North Main Street from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde will also perform at this location.
