
Changes Ahead for Recycling in Several Adams Co. Towns
Some Adams County residents will soon have to change the way they recycle.
More Recycling Changes Coming to Adams County
It was announced today that residents who use the recycling collection services in Camp Point, Liberty, Mendon, and Payson will soon need to find alternative options. According to the Adams County Health Department, the program is set to end in June.

Residents in these towns are encouraged to take their recyclables to one of three drop-off locations in Quincy:
Hy-Vee at 1400 Harrison Street
The Home Depot at 5432 Broadway
The lot near Refreshment Services Pepsi at 1121 Locust Street
No further details have been provided regarding why the recycling programs in these towns are being discontinued.
