Celebrate National Taco Day Throughout the Tri-States
2017 has been rough on many of us. Hell, this week has been rough, and we're barely into Wednesday. But thankfully, this Wednesday is extra special. The silver lining to an already rough week. Wednesday October 4th is the annual National Taco Day. Though I am in the middle of petitioning every possible entity to get National Taco Day moved to the first Tuesday in October. Because National Taco Day should be on Taco Tuesday. That's how important tacos are. Even Cory Matthews acknowledges the importance of a good taco, even in the midst of a fight with Topanga:
The Quincy, Hannibal and Keokuk areas have plenty of options to indulge your taco needs, on this holiest of holy days. In Quincy, Qdoba is offering bonus points to rewards club members. Both Tower Pizza and Gem City Pizza have taco/Mexican pizzas and taco salads, with Tower Pizza offering a taco platter dinner, and taco appetizers. You can also check out the fine taco selections at Mi Jalapeño, El Rancherito and Maya Mexican Restaurant. And don't forget our personal favorite, the Lonchera Randas Food Truck at 18th & Broadway.
Down in Hannibal, swing by Gran Rio, Mi Mexico or El Rodeo for your taco fix, while Los Tapatios is the taco spot up in Keokuk.
Have a great day everybody, and enjoy your taco!
