Finding the perfect place to live, work, and raise a family isn’t always easy, but a new survey is helping those who might need a little convincing. These towns have been ranked among the best of the best for anyone looking to call Missouri home in 2025.

With a population of 8,151, Brentwood is just outside the St. Louis metro area. It has great shopping, restaurants, A+ schools, and lots of parks, and, according to Niche, it’s becoming a go-to spot for young professionals.

Chesterfield has been growing for years and is now one of the hottest spots in the St. Louis area. With outlet malls, top-rated schools, and an incredible outdoor recreation scene for families, it’s easy to see why. Many retirees call Chesterfield home, and the community tends to lean conservative. The public schools here consistently earn high marks.

Most residents in Ballwin own their homes and enjoy the many restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The public schools in Ballwin are also highly rated.

Olivette also makes the top 5. Its crime rates are low, and both housing and schools earn A+ grades from Niche. It’s consistently rated as one of the best towns in Missouri for families.

Clayton rounds out the top 5 thanks to its suburban feel and its popularity with young professionals. The schools in Clayton are also highly rated.
