Missouri Restaurant Named One of the 50 Most Beautiful in U.S.

Fine dining and atmosphere are what you'll get at this Missouri restaurant, one of the most beautiful in the nation.

Just like they release the most beautiful people in the world, People Magazine released a list of the most beautiful restaurants in each state and Grünauer was just named the Show-Me State. They say,

Lofted ceilings modeled after beer barrels channel biergartens in the owner’s native Vienna at this Kansas City restaurant.

Grünauer is known in Kansas City as the place to get classic Viennese food in a historic Freighthouse. The stunning restaurant is located in Union Station in the premier dining and arts neighborhood. What people seem to talk about the most is the beautiful full bar that is something you just have to see for yourself.

They also serve authentic Austrian and Central European cuisine with a focus on German and Hungarian as well. A beautiful biergarten,  and a lofted event space all add to the ambience and character of this KC classic.

It doesn't seem like prices for dishes are too bad, but it's one of those restaurants where you will spend some money and you will want to leave the kids at home. I am all about trying new and different foods and I love visiting UNion Station so this is going on my restaurant bucket list.
