Listening to the radio as a teenager is what got me interested in this business. After entering a high school DJ contest, I was offered a job at the local station and it all started there. I couldn’t believe that people actually got paid for playing “records” all day! Seems like I learned almost every job in the station along the way and have seen lots of changes in this business. I’ve helped give away cars, trips, and enough t-shirts to outfit a small nation. However, the most special thing this job has afforded me is the chance to meet some of the best people in the world – our listeners. I appreciate them letting us into their lives everyday.
