Are you aware of the Illinois Secretary of State's "Emergency Contact Database" program? The Emergency Contact Database is a free program offered by the Secretary of State's office headed by Jesse White and is available to all Illinoisans with a driver's license or ID card.  In the event of an emergency situation, where you cannot speak for yourself, law enforcement can access your information and contact people you have listed. You can register two contacts for law enforcement to use in the case of an emergency.

This is a voluntary program and you are encouraged to participate, but you are not required to do so. If you would like to enroll in the Emergency Contact Database program, go to www.cyberdriveillinois.com and click on the Emergency Contact Database link under "online Services".

If you would like more information, call 217-785-0045 anytime Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
