It's hard sometimes living in Illinois, but according to this new survey, many of the residents that live in the state are extremely happy.

Chicago came out on top of St. Louis as being the happiest city in America, according to a new study done by WalletHub. Chicago ranks at number 56 out of 180 cities that were studied. St. Louis however, is pretty low on the list at number 161, just below Kansas City which came in at 152, and Springfield at number 156. Aurora Illinois must be a really happy place to live, they are in the top 25 at number 21 on the list.

In order to determine the happiest cities in America, WalletHub compared 182 of the largest cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across three key dimensions: 1) Emotional & Physical Well-Being, 2) Income & Employment and 3) Community & Environment.

I wonder what Illinois has over Missouri? It's much "cheaper" to live in Missouri so you would think that it would make Missouri residents happier, but maybe there's just more to do in Illinois cities.
