There are so many breweries in St. Louis but which one is the BEST? According to the readers of St. Louis Magazine the best brewery in St. Louis this year is... 4 Hands Brewing Co.! It beat out the other finalists, Schlafly Beer and Urban Chestnut Brewing Company (Sorry, Budweiser...). What makes 4 Hands Brewing Co. the winner? On their site, they say...

"4 Hands Brewing Co.: Whether it’s the food in the tasting room (provided by Peacemaker Lobster & Crab) or the seasonal beers (often developed in partnership with local businesses), 4 Hands shines while highlighting the best of St. Louis."

I have never been to 4 Hands Brewing Co. so I looked up their website to check out the menu and I can tell why they won. They serve beers like the Divided Sky IPA, the Full Life Lager described as "beer flavored beer", the Nitro Irish Stout, and a unique beer called the State Wide where according to their site...

"$1 from every case sold in Missouri will be donated to Veterans Community Project with the ultimate goal of raising $50,000, the cost of a home in their villages for homeless veterans."

How awesome is that?!?! For more information on 4 Hands Brewing Co. click here!

Welp...I know where I am going on my next trip to St. Louis. There is something about a local brewery that just can't be beat, yes I know, I love Miller Lite above all, BUT spending a day/night checking out a local brewery sampling all the different beers can't be beat.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
