The future of youth and travel sports just got even bigger in Springfield. When completed, the Scheels Sports Park at Legacy Pointe will be the largest sports destination in the country.

Featuring eight outdoor fields, a 190,000-square-foot indoor sports dome, turf fields, and multi-use courts, this mega sports complex is built to accommodate athletes of all kinds, year-round. The $42 million project already has some facilities open to the public, but it just unveiled its biggest attraction yet: the fully inflated 190,000-square-foot indoor dome.

Legacy Sports Park Facilities

Not only will the sports complex feature top-tier fields, courts, and equipment—it will also include a hitting center, an indoor performance and fitness area, a food truck plaza and pavilion, plus an administration building with restrooms and concessions. With everything in one place, you won’t need to leave the facility at all, even if you're there for an all-day tournament.
