The Savannah Bananas have been a baseball revelation. It's baseball for people who get bored by the labored strategy of the grand old game. You have friends and family who tell you every spring and summer that baseball is too slow, too boring, “it takes too long for stuff to happen”. They love the brand of baseball that the Savannah Bananas play. It’s baseball, with a whole mess of other entertaining athletic things going on to keep fans' eyes on the action. Kind of like the Harlem Globetrotters of baseball.

The Savannah Bananas toured around the country last summer to sold out stadiums, and fans left wowed and spreading the word on BananaBall. The Bananas sold out Busch stadium last season, when the Cardinals weren’t drawing fans. They also sold out Rate field, where the White Sox play, and are coming to Wrigley field for three nights in 2026. Wrigleyville will be Banana buzzing and Illinois wants a bigger piece of that action.
