Spooky season is here and for some reason about this time, you might be hearing some strange things in your home, or maybe even smell odd smells. According to House Beautiful, there's a good chance you are not the only one "living" in your home. There are five signs your home could/might be haunted if you are experiencing some paranormal activity.

There's a Distinct Smell

Let me paint a picture. You're sitting in your home watching TV or taking a nap and all of a sudden you smell something odd. Maybe rotten eggs or the trash needs to be taken out, but you didn't cook eggs and you just took put the trash. That's a sign you could have some paranormal activity.

Temperature Changes

This one is kind of a no-brainer. If you're sitting in your home and all of a sudden feel a "chill in the air" over and over and over again. Guess what? Yup, you might not be alone.

Phone Battery is Low All the Time

Spirits absorb the energy around them, including electronic-like batties. They use energy to manifest themselves so if you are continually charging your phone battery it could mean you have a friendly (or sometimes not so friendly) ghost on your hands.

What Was the Noise?

What was that? I find myself asking that a lot especially when I am in the office by myself or in my home. Doors creaking, floors making noises, my Romba vacuum magically turns on, my lights are flickering, my dogs barking into space (that's a BIG one for me) all leading experts saying you could have a ghost.

Strange Touches on Back or Neck

I would scream bloody murder that's what would happen if I ever felt something like that. Knock on wood I haven't.

if you are experiencing all of the above, and you consistently feel like there's something on the back of your neck, Mayhan says you may want to reach out to a spiritual healer of some kind, as it can indicate that a ghost "attached" to you.

It's safe to say that if you've ever felt, seen, heard, or experienced any of these signs you are living with a ghost and might want to think about moving.
