5.) Chris Jones, Defensive Tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs. Pro Football Focus had him ranked as the SECOND best player in the NFL, and he was their defensive player of the year, a dominant player in his prime, he belongs on this list.

4.) Paul Goldschmidt, First Baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals. The reigning NL MVP Goldy was ranked as the 7th best player going into this current season by the MLB Network, a no-brainer for this list.

3.) Nolan Arenado, Third Baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals. He is the first or second-best 3rd baseman in the MLB and was ranked as the 6th best player in the league by the MLB Network. He is a 9-time golden glove winner and has plenty left in the tank.

2.) Travis Kelce, Tight End for the Kansas City Chiefs. This may be his last year this high on the list, age is catching up with him but he is still the best TE in the NFL and the Best Weapon in the NFL. His utter dominance is why he belongs this high on the list.

1.) Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. Duh... No need to explain this one, he is the best player in the NFL.
