St. Louis, Missouri made the list of the 22 Best Places to Visit in March in the US from meganstarr.com. St. Louis is on the list with places like Big Sur in California, Chicago, Asheville in North Carolina, the Florida Panhandle, and the Texas Hill Country. Why does St. Louis shine in March? On the site they say...

"While St. Louis is a great place to visit year-round, you will definitely enjoy a trip in March because the city is just starting to move back outdoors as the weather is getting nicer and the feeling of spring is in the air...March attractions in the area to consider are the newly renovated Union Station with the largest observation wheel in the midwest, catching a concert/show at the Pageant or Fox Theater, and taking in the history and art at Forest Park."

The site also goes on to mention there are a bunch of festivals to check out in St. Louis during March like the St. Patricks Day Parade, and the Orchard Show at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. But the suite does give fair warning that the weather is getting better in March it can be unpredictable as well so plan accordingly. I always say that visiting cities in the spring and fall is the best because in the summer and winter, you need to be constantly ordering Uber because of the heat or the cold, but in the spring and fall you can put your walking shoes on and really explore what the downtowns of cities are all about.
