Many have witnessed the classic Grand Prix of Karting in Quincy's South Park over the years, but not nearly as many know what it's like to really take a kart along the course. Thanks to a video share, you can see it through a driver's eyes.

The Quincy Grand Prix of Karting is set for Saturday and Sunday, June 11 and 12 in South Park. Thanks to Doug Harden, you can see what the drivers will be experiencing. Here's how Doug described what you'll see:

2021 Quincy GP 125 Shifter Final. Devon Smith-Harden takes win #2 of the weekend...even after biffing the start and touching the curb after the jump. He set the track record on lap #7.

This is about as close as you can get without actually getting in a kart yourself.

The Quincy Grand Prix gets underway early Saturday morning with the driver's meeting around 7:45am. Practice and qualifying will follow with heats beginning just after 3p. The championship races begin Sunday around noon.

It's an iconic event that dates back to 1970. Make sure to follow the official website for more information, details and updates for what will hopefully be a fun and safe weekend of racing in South Park.
