If you're a NASCAR fan, you have reason to be excited. There is a confirmed report that the Cup Series is coming to World Wide Technology Raceway in St. Louis in June of 2022.

This report comes via KMOX on Audacy. They shared that Sunday, June 5, 2022 will be the day when the top tier of the NASCAR series comes to St. Louis. (Yes, technically, the raceway is located in Madison, Illinois, but it's right across the river so you get the idea) This is confirmed by the World Wide Technologies Raceway official website.

World Wide Technology Raceway when it was known as Gateway hosted many NASCAR races over the year including the Truck Series and what is now known as the Xfinity Series.

I would guess that many race fans will love the idea of being able to road trip to watch defending Cup champion Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney and other NASCAR stars do battle on the track in St. Louis.

Make sure to check out the official World Wide Technologies Raceway website for more details and updates.
