What is a Babymoon? And why should you spend it in Illinois?

There is a city in Illinois that was named one of the top places to take a Babymoon in all of the US. But what exactly is a babymoon? And, why should you consider taking your babymoon here in the Land of Lincoln?

A babymoon according to healthline.com is...

"A babymoon is similar to a honeymoon, in that it’s a celebratory vacation. But instead of spending alone time with your spouse after getting married, you’re enjoying quality time together before the birth of a new baby"

They are becoming very popular and Chicago, Illinois was just named one of the 10 best places in the US to take a babymoon. Sixt.com just released their list of the best babymoon destinations and Chicago ranked 9th on the list only behind places like New York City, San Diego, Orlando, and Los Angeles. What makes Chicago a great babymoon destination? On the site, they say...

I will say that if I was going on a babymoon Chicago would be fun because there is wayyy more to do there than just drink, which is why I don't agree with Las Vegas being ranked ahead of Chicago on this list. With the lake, the museums, the restaurants, and the shows I get why people would want to babymoon in Chicago.
