If you are ever looking for something to do in Quincy, IL on a Saturday, you may have heard people tell you to take a "flavor tour" of Quincy. And from the name, you can probably deduce that it is a food and drink tour where you try different things from different places in the heart of Quincy, and yes, on the surface that is what it is. But according to the seequincy.com website, there is more to it than just that. On the site they say...

"Are you a curious foodie? Pave your way to DELICIOUS. Each Saturday during the summer, downtown Quincy chefs create seasonal brunch/lunch menus including house made coffee, cocktails and beer. Tours are guided by a Food Ambassador sharing colorful insights of the city’s past along the way. Your adventure includes five of the venues below, a Farmers Market stroll in Washington Park, and a stop at a boutique shop. Gift Certificates are also available by calling 800.978.4748.

"

Flavor Tours are only on Saturdays during specific times, and the places that you will be stopping at on the flavor tour include the Electric Fountain Brewing, Wicked Thyme Charcuterie, The Patio, On The Rail Sports Bar & Grill, Krazy Cakes Cafe, Tiramisu, and Quincy Brewing Company, to learn more about the Flavor Tours click here!

I love that there is such a unique variety of places on the flavor tour, you couldn't find two more different places in Quincy than On The Rail and The Patio if you tried, and they are right next to each other! I would love to see Platt Daddy BBQ added to the flavor tour, as well as, Chicks on the River and Thyme Square.
