Weekend Heat Advisory Issued for the Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for the area, beginning around midday Saturday.
Forecasters expect temperatures to climb to the mid 90s, with heat index values reaching 105 to 110.
Officials caution that the combination of hot temperatures and high humidity can cause heat-related illnesses to occur.

Noon to 8 p.m. Saturday for: Adams and Brown counties in Illinois; Knox, Lewis, Marion and Shelby counties in Missouri.
1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday for: Hancock County Illinois and Clark County Missouri.
Noon Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday for: Pike County Illinois; Audrain, Lincoln, Monroe, Pike and Ralls counties in Missouri.
