It's no secret that the storm that rolled through the tri-state area last Sunday was a wild one. There's new video shared from that storm showing a wild lightning display captured from Liberty, Illinois.

I haven't seen the name of the person who shared the video on Rumble, but ViralHog included this backstory from their video:

On 9-18-22 around 10:00 pm CST in Liberty, Illinois there was an emergency alert for a tornado warning. The tornado was confirmed in Loraine, Illinois which is approximately 23 miles from my location. My wife and I grabbed our kids and went to the basement for safety. I decided to go upstairs to check everything and that's when I decided to take the short video of the huge Supercell and constant lightning. End result is that nobody was injured, The tornado missed all houses and destroyed a nearby cornfield as well as power lines and trees

The almost constant lightning shows the intimidating structure of the thunderstorm that dropped the tornado they mentioned.

This storm was so widely experienced there was also video captured by a trail cam with night vision near Auxvasse, Missouri that we shared earlier today.

Never a dull moment when it comes to thunderstorms that frequently travel through our part of the Midwest. The rule of thumb is that if you don't like the weather now, just wait 10 minutes.
