Disc golf is growing in popularity year by year with new courses in new places. All you need is a disc (or a 3 pack starter set: driver, mid-range, putter), a friend or two and a willingness to learn and grow.

--Fair Warning-- Disc golf can become addictive. A quick tell is how satisfying you find the sound of chains rattling.

With new and exciting courses popping up across the region, get your crew together and make plans to get to these locations in west central Illinois this fall.

Moorman Park – Quincy, Il.  18 holes - With a mix of open holes and technical holes Moorman Park provides a nice variety of play for beginners that encourages growth in multiple areas.

Bob Mays Park – Quincy, Il. 18 holes – More wide open than Moorman Park, but technicality can play a part as the biggest obstacle sometimes can be the park walkers with the walking path that winds through the course.

Bailey Park – Camp Point, Il. 18 holes – Plays short and forces you to be precise. Disc control is a must.

Lake Mount Sterling – Mt. Sterling, Il. 18 holes – A newer course that will continue to evolve, but it’s a fun treat with wide open holes and some that play between the trees.

Wildcat Springs – Hamilton, Il. 18 holes – When you are ready to be challenged make the trip to Hamilton. Long and technical, you’ll need all your skill sets firing to manage this course. Plenty of elevation changes mean you’ll be tired after 18.
