Vote Quincy’s District to Be America’s Main Street

Quincy's very own District, where we all love to shop, dine, drink and be entertained, is in the running to be America's Main Street! At least, if our votes in Stihl's competition have anything to say about it.

A buddy of mine in one of the other nominated towns shared this contest on Facebook, and I thought to myself, "Quincy really should be nominated..." So I checked out the nominees and there we were! The contest is designed to celebrate small towns with big downtown districts. Districts that encourage local businesses, and create a sense of community. And The District fits that bill to a T.

So go vote for Quincy to win it! You can vote once every 24 hours. The District could win $25,000 in prizes for more improvements to the area! Quarterfinalist voting is going on through April 24th. Final voting begins on May 1st, with the winner announced on June 5th! We'll keep you update as the competition moves forward.
