The video was posted to YouTube earlier this year and has over 13 thousand views, it was posted by a YouTube channel called Living St. Louis, and claims there are six major negatives to living in Missouri. The video is on the longer side (just over 16 and a half minutes long) and is geared towards people who are considering moving to Missouri, and is narrated by a man born in Missouri and has lived most of his life in the St. Louis area.

The six negatives that he lists are Missouri isn't a popular state to move to, Missouri has slow growth, Missouri is boring, Weather in the Midwest, Tornadoes, and finally Missouri's Taxes.

Now let me start by saying I live in Quincy, IL just at the Illinois/Missouri border, and spend a ton of time in Missouri with great towns like Hannibal, Palmyra, Canton, and so on, but I don't personally live there. BUT I feel like this guy is stretching a bit, he can only come up with 6 negative things about Missouri and two of them are the same thing, Tornados are a part of the weather the last time I checked. Also on the taxes point, yes Missouri has a higher than average statewide tax rate, its taxes are still less on things like tobacco, gasoline, and others that make it more affordable to live.
