Unhitched Boat and Trailer Cause Third Street Closure

A portion of Third Street (near Lind) was closed Wednesday afternoon after a trailer containing a boat came unhitched and struck a utility pole.

According to witnesses, the trailer came loose from its tow vehicle causing it to strike the utility pole. Ameren was called to attend to the downed wire.
