Two New COVID-19 Deaths in Adams County Tuesday

There have been more COVID-19 related deaths in Adams County.

Health department officials reported Tuesday the death of two Adams County residents due to coronavirus, a woman in her 70s and a woman in her 80s.

That brings the Adams County COVID death toll to 21.

Officials also reported 46 new confirmed coronavirus cases Tuesday, 21 males, age zero to 80s and 25 females age 10 to 70s.

There have now been 1,939 cases of COVID-19 in Adams County, with 225 active cases, 41 hospitalized, age 30s to 100s, and ten in intensive care.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total test climbs to 12.10%.
