The Adams County Health Department Tuesday announced that two more Adams County residents have died of COVID-19 related illness, a male in his 70s and a female in her 80s.

Officials also reported 63 new confirmed cases of coronavirus, ranging in age from under 20 to over 80.

There have now been 4,838 positive COVID cases in Adams County, with 544 active, 65 hospitalized from age 20s to 90s, 14 in ICU and now 47 deaths.

The preliminary seven-day positivity rate for cases as a percent of total tests holds steady at 4.63%.

Rapid COVID testing continues at 3200 Broadway in Quincy from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday.
