Missouri is home to the 2nd Best Croissant in the US

A shop in Covina, California, is home to the BEST croissant in the US, BUT... Missouri has the second-best croissant in the country after the one in California, according to a new ranking from Yelp.

Yelp came out with a list called the Top 100 Croissants that'll make you say "oh la la" and the second-best croissant in the US can be found at Nathaniel Reid Bakery in St. Louis, Missouri!  On Yelp, they say this about Nathaniel Reid Bakery...

The croissants on the menu at Nathaniel Reid Bakery include the classic croissant, the seeded ham and cheese croissant, the chocolate croissant, the almond croissant, and the chocolate almond croissant. But of course, the bakery has a ton of other menu items like the double chocolate brownie, the maple pull-apart, and the chocolate croissant bread pudding that serves 6 people! I have never been to Nathaniel Reid Bakery but after looking at their menu, and the photos on their website, I am 1000% trying this place the next trip I take to St. Louis. Apparently, chef Nathaniel Ried was named one of the 10 best pastry chefs in America by Dessert Professional Magazine...how fancy, right?
