The Stars Align for 2025 Planet Comicon in KC Missouri

Kansas City’s Planet Comicon is kicking off Friday March 21^st at the Kansas City Convention Center and running through the 23rd. With panels on how to become a cinematic writer, getting into the comics industry, animation, cosplaying professionals and many more.

You'll also have dozens of celebrity guests from multiple media genres. Movie and TV Actors, Authors, Artists, Directors, Animators, Illustrators, Costumers and others, including:

Vincent D’Onofrio

His Comicon calling card is “Wilson Fisk/Kingpin” from the "Daredevil", "Hawkeye" and "Echo" series’ on Disney+ , but he was also in "Men In Black" and "Full Metal Jacket".     

Tim Daly

Comicon calling card is being the longtime voice of Clark Kent/Superman in Superman TAS, and several DC animated movies. Was also the star of “Wings” and the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff “Private Practice”

Amy Jo Johnson

Your original Pink Ranger (!!!) 'nuff said.......She also has a band.

Christopher Lloyd

Comicon bonafides – He was Dr. Emmett Brown in the Back to The Future movies. He was also Judge Doom in “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”, Uncle Fester in the “Addams Family” movies from the 90s, and classically Jim Ignatowski on “Taxi”.

Andy Serkis

The guy that elevated motion capture acting into the movie going publics conscience with his portrayals of Gollum in the “Lord of the Rings” movies, Kong in “King Kong”, Caesar in the “Plant of the Apes” movies, and Ulysses Klaue in the MCU.

David Tennant

The tenth incarnation of the Doctor (and 14^th) in Dr. Who, Kilgrave/The Purple Man in “Jessica Jones” as well as the series “Good Omens” and “Broadchurch”.

Christina Ricci

Your 1990s Wednesday Addams. Began her career in the movie “Mermaids” opposite Cher and Winona Ryder. Currently she is “Misty” on “Yellowjackets”

Jim Beaver

Famously he was Bobby Singer in “Supernatural”. He also had bigger roles on “Deadwood” and “Justified”.

Comicon season is just getting started for 2025. One of the fun things to do is to find the creatives who are just getting started in their career. You could actually get a quality moment or exchange with them at this point as the masses don’t know of them yet. If there is someone new that you enjoy make time to seek them out at any Comicon. They could very well be a huge draw that you’ll have to pay high dollar to meet in the future, but could easily be friendly with in this season of their life.
