The Price Is Right Is Coming to Central Illinois

Come on down! You could be the next contestant on The Price is Right.

A stage adaptation of the very popular (and longest running) game show will be in Springfield at the University of Illinois Springfield Performing Arts Center on February 13, 2019. The Price is Right Live show is a touring production that gives audiences all over the country a chance to play the games made famous by Bob Barker and Drew Carey and, of course, the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes.

I've been a fan of the show since I was just a kid. I remember watching this show with my grandmother and we would yell at the TV telling contestants which price to pick. I would love to start a new tradition like that with my kiddos.

Some of the games you will see on the live show are Plinko, Hole In One (Or Two), Dice Game, and I'm hoping that Cliffhangers makes an appearance too (it's my favorite). Tickets for the live show will go fast so you might want to buy them now. Ticket prices start at $29.50 and you might just find yourself as part of the show.

The live show has been around for 14 years and has awarded more than $12 million in prizes.
