The Final Twinkie

Last night, my family crossed a milestone: we enjoyed our final Twinkie together.

Funny thing is, I never was the biggest Twinkie fan. I am more of a Ho Ho person. But the fact that Twinkies are no longer available, I guess it makes them taste just that much better.

I took a single bite containing a combination of the angel food cake and cream filling. The cake was moist, with just the right amount of "sponginess". The cream was sweet and smooth.

The next step was to nibble just the cake part, leaving nothing but cream filling...and then it was gone.

Yum.

I think, if some company comes in to purchase Hostess and resurrects the Twinkie, we'll need to have a Twinkie party at KICK-FM
