The District Adds Noon Blues to the Summer Concert Roster

Well now isn't this a pleasant surprise. I was just talking with Sam and Laura this morning about how excited I am for Blues in the District to start up tomorrow night. And I mentioned how much I miss the Concerts In The Plaza series ever since that ended a few weeks ago. I need my lunchtime jam sessions and Butchers Block meals. The District anticipated my needs, stepping up to announce Noon Blues.

Starting this Friday, and every Friday there's a Blues in the District, head to Washington Park from noon to one to catch the Noon Blues, showcasing local talent putting on a concert, with lunch provided by Butcher's Block, or you can bring your own.

The fun kicks off this Friday with Joe Thomas and Friends, and Bella Song on the 22nd. July will see shows from Zeke Cernea on the 13th and Katie Hogge on the 27th, wrapping up in August with Cheeks McGee and Logan Kammerer on the 10th and 24th, respectively.
