According to gayot.com Sluggers in Chicago has been ranked as one of the 10 Best Sports Bars in the Country coming in at 8th place on the list. Sluggers came in behind some massive sports bars like Beer Park in Vegas, Game On in Boston, and even Lester's in St. Louis. Gayot.com says this about Sluggers...

"Located on Chicago's North Side, adjacent to Wrigley Field, this hang is a favorite with locals thanks to indoor batting cages, an extensive game room and many TVs. Sustenance consists of deep-dish pizzas, sandwiches and appetizers...The split-level layout provides plenty of space to chill and catch scores."

I couldn't agree more with gayot.com that Sluggers belongs in the top ten of this list, it is a great sports bar. The bottom level is a massive bar space with tons of floor space, huge beer lists, great food, and specialty drinks as well. But the upstairs to Sluggers is what makes it special, it has an arcade and a full-on batting cage set up, not just one but multiple batting cages! Now you do have to be careful after having a couple of beers stepping into the cages with an 80mph fastball coming at you, but Sluggers is a Wrigleyville must, and one of my all-time favorite sports bars. Also, shoutout to Lester's in St. Louis for making this list, while I have never been people have told me it is a must if you are looking for a great place to watch a game.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
