Maine street in general is one of the best streets in the city, especially during the summer and fall months. With the trees changing colors I highly suggest walking up and down the street as much as you can while the weather is good. The houses on Maine Streer are equally beautiful and there is one that is on the market that has so much charm.

1469 Maine Street is in the heart of the East End of the Historic District. It's one of my favorite houses to walk past. The home has three marble fireplaces, woodwork throughout the home, and modern fixtures to bring it all together.

What I love best about some of these homes on Maine Street is the character and this house has a ton. Stained glass windows, front and back parlors, a wine cellar, and an amazing backyard to relax in. I only wish I could even think about affording a house like this, but until then I (like many of you) have these photos to dream about owning a home like this.
