There are plenty of places throughout the United States to visit, but sometimes just a day trip will satisfy one’s eagerness to just “get-away” even for just a few hours and not be that far from home.

The 2020 Dogwood Parade has been postponted according to an email sent out from The Quincy Chamber of Commerce.

Dogwood Parade is finally coming up this weekend, and I am so excited to be a part of it for the 1st time! Everyone I have met so far in the Quincy area has been telling me, for the two months I have been, here that Dogwood weekend is an absolute blast. Now that it is finally here I have compiled a list of the events that I wont be missing out on this Dogwood 2019.

It isn't truly spring in Quincy until Dogwood Weekend. And now just over a week out, (May 3-5) we have our FULL schedule. If you are planning on attending any of the festivities, here's what you need to know.

Quincy offers a variety of activities for people of all ages. However, you must cross off everything on the following list in order to be called a true Quincyan.
