‘Spare Change For Real Change’ Coming Up to Benefit Special Olympics Illinois
“Spare Change for Real Change” for Special Olympics Illinois will be held in Quincy on Friday, September 18.
This event has been a huge success the past four years. Quincy Police Department personnel will be at the intersection of 24th and Harrison on Friday, September 18 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. collecting money for Special Olympics Illinois. People are asked to donate the spare change in their cars, or paper money. While supplies last, in return for their donation, a Torch Run Supporter static window cling will be given to donors to place on their car or home to proudly display their support of the athletes in Illinois.
