I don't know how much you have heard about New York Mayor, Michael Bloomberg's recent assault on sugary drinks - in particular sodas, larger that 16 ounces.

It seems that Mayor Bloomberg wants to ban drinks that contain more than 25 calories per 8 ounces.  Restaurants and stores that don't enforce the ban, could be fined up to $200 for failure to comply.

Again, this is big government, sticking its nose where it doesn't belong.

If Bloomberg is successful with this campaign, where does it lead to next? Pancakes and doughnuts? Will we see bans on certain fast foods, that are determined to be unhealthy for us?

Let me know what you think about this issue.
