Reba McEntire changed outfits about once every 30 minutes at the 2018 ACM Awards. Knowing she had the wardrobe and glam team to help her is one major reason the host agreed to take the job. The effort paid off, as you'll see in this gallery of her ACM outfits.

Per People, the majority of McEntire's dresses were designed by Johnathan Kayne, with the exception of the famous red dress she wore to close the show. That sparkly, once-controversial number was designed by Sandi Spika Borchetta for the 1993 CMA Awards, and the Country Music Hall of Famer was still able to fit into it.

"It was like seeing an old friend again," McEntire tells the mag.

Her wardrobe team reveals there were nine outfit changes, and plenty of footwear swaps. Justin Boots were chosen on a few occasions, just because McEntire finds them comfortable. But she was most cozy in a pair of red slippers at the end of the night (We included a couple of pictures from her post-show media tour because they're just so much fun).

McEntire has hosted the ACM Awards more than a dozen times, most recently with Blake Shelton as a co-host in 2012. She was brought back after Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley were dropped. Bryan's American Idol schedule and commitments prevented him from hosting this year, but he wasn't terribly missed.

In addition to hosting, McEntire performed "Does He Love You" with Kelly Clarkson.
