Today on the Quincy Park District's Facebook page they announced they will be closing the basketball courts in Quincy, they said...

This is certainly frustrating to hear, as a person who loves to go to the parks and shoot around with friends. But I trust that the Quincy Park District is doing this with the best intentions of keeping everyone as safe as possible during this coronavirus pandemic. It is just another reminder of why it is so important for us as a community to get these virus numbers, and cases, under control. With the rise of coronavirus cases and deaths in Adams County things like this will keep happening. The Quincy Park District has already canceled all fall sports due to coronavirus concerns. I am not sure how this will be enforced, they didn't mention it in their Facebook post, but it is up to us to do what we can to stay healthy and keep the coronavirus cases dropping across the Tri-States.
