Quincy Mall Changes Name
The Quincy Mall has rebranded themselves with a new logo and a new name.
Cullinan Properties who owns The Quincy Mall announced today that the Quincy Mall will now be known as Quincy Town Center. Mike Jenkins, Quincy Town Center Manager made the announcement along with representatives from Cullinan Properties, Ltd in a press conference held at the fountain court. They way people shop has changed, and the name comes with the change along with a fresh, new image for the property according to Jenkins.
Jenkins hopes that making this change this will allow more retail shops to Quincy, and reach out to non-traditional businesses too such as a daycare or a hotel. Shopping and dining will remain the top focus for the Quincy Town Center. There will be lots of opportunity to see the Quincy Town Center to grow.
With the Quincy Medical Groups Cancer Institute and the newly announced Quincy Medical Group mini-hospital (which will break ground this spring or early summer) there will be more opportunities for non-traditional businesses to come to Quincy Town Center.
The Quincy Mall has been serving Quincy for over 40 years, and in that time has see many businesses come and go throughout the years. The Quincy Town Center will not only be a place for shopping, but now be known for a place for the community to use it for meetings, gatherings, and more.
