Pappo's Pizzeria and Pub posted on their Facebook page that they will be closing their doors until further notice due to the lack of staff able to work. The good news, this is a temporary closure and will reopen as soon as they can.

Due to the current staffing crisis, Pappo’s Quincy will be closed until further notice. We deeply apologize for this major inconvenience and are currently working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We will be posting updates on this page as they come- thank you for your continued support!

Pappo's has been open less than a year (they opened in September 2020) and serves craft beer, pizza, sandwiches and more. My family and I have eaten there a few times and its so good and the staff were extremely friendly. I hope the closure is just for a few days (and if it has to be a few weeks) and can reopen. With several events/festivals happening this summer, which brings in tourism, we need to keep these businesses open so they are successful and can stay open for good.

If you are looking for work in food service, the Quincy Town Center is holding a Quincy Area Foodservice Job Fair from 8 am - 4 pm on May 19. Find the fair across from Yan's Massage near the Pepsi Play Arena on the East End of the Town Center.
