Quincy Brewing Company is on it’s Way!

We finally have an updated timeline on when Quincy Brewing Company will be opening its doors. According to WGEM's website Quincy Brewing Company's begun renovation on multiple buildings along 6th street in Quincy. In total there will be multiple apartments available with the brewery itself located on the first floor. Now when can we expect to be sitting down for a tall cold glass of beer? Well they hope to be opening sometime in late October or November.

I for one am absolutely thrilled about this! Being new to Quincy one of my first questions to co workers was "Is there a brewery here?" Breweries are all the rage from when I lived in Chicago and they are a ton of fun! Having locally crafted beers brings a sense of community pride and something we can all rally around. My hope is that they do plenty of tastings, brewery tours, and seasonal beers as well. And if they need a brewery tour guide I'd like to be one.
