News of new confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to come in from around northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

Health department officials in Pike County, Missouri report the third coronavirus related death of a Pike County resident, a male in his 70s. The man first tested positive August 25th.

The Ralls County Health Department reports eleven new COVID cases since Friday, bringing the total cases in Ralls County to 126, with 22 active cases, one hospitalization and 104 recoveries.

In Pike County, Illinois, health department officials report four new coronavirus cases Monday, including one female in her 40s and three males from 20s to 50s.

The Pike County total cases are now 82, with 24 active, four hospitalized and 58 recoveries.

And, in Hancock County, two new lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported Monday – one female in her 30s to 40s and one male in his 80s to 90s, both recovering at home. One is connected to another positive case.

The Hancock County total is now 146, with 29 active, 115 recovered and two deaths.
