Who doesn't love to cuddle at night with their four-legged friend? Beside cuddling with kids, it's the next best thing. I'm always a sucker for an event that helps our local animals find their forever homes. And here we are.

An event called Pancakes for Paws will be at the Quincy Senior High cafeteria on May 12 starting at 7:30 am. The event will have pancakes from IHOP and all proceeds collected with benefit the Homeward Bound Waggin, Inc.

Shelters are always looking for food, toys, blankets, and any other type of donations to make sure the animals have what they need until adopted. If you would like to attend, tickets are are $5 and you can pay at the door.

Homeward Bound Waggin's mission is to provide companion animals a second chance at life and to stop cruelty toward animals. For more information about Pancakes for Paw visit their Facebook page and plan on attending.
