Only 1 of the Top 100 Taco Spots in the US is in Missouri

According to a ranking from Yelp, only 1 Taco Spot in the Show-Me State of Missouri is worthy of being on the list of the 100 Best Taco Spots in the US. Here is the spot that represents Missouri on the list...

Yelp put together a list called the Top 100 Taco Spots in the US 2023, and out of all of the terrific places to get tacos in Missouri only ONE place from Missouri made the list. The place that made the list is Taco Buddha in the suburb of St. Louis called University City. What makes Taco Buddha deserving of making this list? On Yelp they say...

"Globally inspired fusion tacos. Neighborhood vibes. Counter serve taco restaurant producing unexpected flavors. Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan options available. Everyone can find something to love. Dog-friendly patio. Dine in and curbside pickup available."

Yelp goes on to give Taco Buddha a 98 out of 100 on their health score. I have never been to Taco Buddha so I went to their website and checked out their menu, and it sounds terrific! Some of the things on the menu that stood out to me were the Cholula Featured Taco which is made up of braised and shredded chicken tinga, cabbage, cotija cheese, citrus-pickled red onion, avocado, cilantro, corn tortillas. Plus they have a Nashville hot chicken-style taco and a Chorizo breakfast taco, and they do have a quesadilla, and salad option too. To see the full menu for yourself, click here!

I can't believe that this place was this low on the list coming in at 83rd out of 100, and that it is the only taco place in Missouri. Yelp clearly hasn't eaten enough Mexican food in the Show-Me State!
