The Masters Tournament is this weekend, and in honor of Golf's biggest tournament, we want to remind everyone that one of the game's greatest talents is from the Show-Me State of Missouri!

No, Tiger Woods is from California, not Missouri, but one of the only people that have a resume in the game of golf that can hold a candle to Tiger's resume is a Missouri boy. If you didn't know the great Tom Watson is from Missouri! Fox Sports did a big article ranking the best golfer in every state, and they said this when it came to Tom Watson being from Kansas City, Missouri...

"Watson’s Midwestern humility and his steely focus allowed his game to translate well across the world, as his five Open Championship wins ties him for second most. That only scrapes the surface of a Hall of Fame career resulting in 39 PGA Tour wins (11th all time), eight majors with three legs of the career grand slam and six Ryder Cup appearances between player (four) and captain (two)."

Tom Watson is 6th all-time when it comes to Major wins with 8, 1 behind Gary Player and Ben Hogan, 3 behind Walter Hagen, and then Tiget has 15 total, and Jack Nicklaus has 18 total. Tom Watson won the Masters two times.

Golf isn't for everybody, and I understand if you don't love watching golf. but The Masters is one of the top 5 biggest sporting events every year in my opinion. If you win The Masters it is like winning a Super Bowl and a Dayton 500 combined for your golf career.
